The desktop app is Snug at full strength: your .snug file on your own disk, your API keys or a local model via Ollama, no account, no telemetry — and connections a browser tab structurally cannot make.
Universal binary — Apple silicon and Intel. Requires macOS. Windows and Linux are planned after 1.0.

Any brain you like
Bring an Anthropic or OpenAI key, point at any local OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and pin a model per app. Your credentials never leave your machine's own executor.
Updates are offered, never pushed
The app checks for releases and asks. Update artifacts are cryptographically signed; nothing installs without your click, and "later" is always an answer.
